Valentine's Day Card for my hubby

Hello Friends,
I just thought I would share the card I made especially for my hubby, Luis, for Valentine's Day. He is the most amazing husband. For those of you who do not know him, well let's just say he has the patience of a SAINT!!! Together we share a total of 5 children. But, what makes him so amazing is he stays home and cares for our 5 year old son, Trevor and our twin girls; Marissa and Casandra who are approaching 2 years old and never complains about ANYTHING. I love him dearly for his patience, kindness, and for loving me even when I am a BIG PAIN! I am truly blessed and so I made him this card to remind him how special he is to me.

Valentine's Day is almost here!!!

Hello Friends,

Are you prepared for Valentine's Day? I am, can't wait to share my love with all my 1st graders and of course with my family and close friends. I thought today's post would be one that shows the few things I have been creating to get prepared for that special day of love. Enjoy!!!

These are the cards I made with our chocolate nugget wrappers. I made them specifically for my students. I just know they will LOVE them!

This is one I made just for fun. I wanted to use all of the wonderful new products from Stampin Up. I just love the new edgelits!!!

This one is one I made for a Monday Challenge. Loved how beautiful it turned out!

Here is a bookmark with holder I made. Started reading again and realized that I did not have anymore bookmarks, I truly don't know where they all went!

And finally, I was given this travel coffee cup for Christmas from my dear friend Roxanne and decided I could transform it every month to a new theme. Makes my mornings even more cheery!!!

And if that was not subtle enough, here goes nothing.... Book a workshop now to create Valentine's Day cards with your friends (a guaranteed fun time) , and if you plan it just right you can earn Sale-a-bration rewards which begins January 24. Contact me if this sounds like something you would like to be a part of!!!

Anyway, here is this week's challenge layout and of course my card, which my hubby already saw so I will have to create something else just for him LOL.

Monster Christmas

Hello Friends,

Today I made a very special Christmas card for my nephew Joseph. His mother bought this stamp set for him because he loved the idea of building his own monsters, however after a year of owning it he has still yet to make anything with them so I decided to surprise him with a Christmas card to hopefully inspire him to create with his stamp set. It came out amazing, I am so proud of myself. Let me know what ya think!

Here is the front and when he opens it up...

SURPRISE!!!!
This card was so much fun to make. I got my inspiration from my good friend, Darla. She taught me how to make pop up cards at a shoebox swap. I was so impressed by the one she made that I decided to give it a shot myself. I am so glad she showed me what to do because this is probably one of my most favorite cards that I have ever made. So Darla, if you are reading this THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Card Size: 5 1/2" X 4 1/4"
Stamp Sets Used: Sock Monkey Accessories (ret.), Make a Monster, Festive & Fun, Warmest of Wishes,Scenic Saeson Lovely as a Tree, and Many Merry Messages
Colors Used: Riding Hood Red, Always Artichoke, Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, and Wisteria Wonder
Accessories and Tools Used: Basic Pearls, dimensionals, Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, glue dots, sponge, and 1 3/8" circle punch
