Today's card is a Baby Shower card I made for a friend of mine who is expecting a baby boy. Isn't it cute? I love this stamp because you could leave off the sailor hat, add a bow, and changed the color scheme to pink and viola the same card made for a baby girl!

My Favorite Flowers
Hello Friends,
Today's post is all about my favorite flowers. What are they you ask? Sunflowers of course. Did you know...
Today's post is all about my favorite flowers. What are they you ask? Sunflowers of course. Did you know...
- Sunflowers are native to the Americas.
- The giant flower on sunflowers is actually made up of many tiny blooms? The center of the sunflower, where the seeds develop, is made up of tiny blossoms that bees absolutely love.
- Sunflowers typically grow between five and twelve feet tall (not counting cute little dwarf sunflowers.)
- At the bud stage, sunflowers exhibit a unique trait called heliotropism -- the bud of the sunflower faces the sun at all times throughout the day, starting the day facing east, and ending it facing west.
- The sunflower is the state flower of Kansas and the national flower of Ukraine.
- The official meaning of the sunflower is loyalty and longevity. Not only that, but they are simply beautiful. Love them! Today I am including two different cards from the same stamp set. It is Stampin Up's Sunflower background stamp, however I feel it to beautiful to be in the background :o) Have a wonderful summer day!Card Size: 4 1/4" X 5 1/2"Card Palette: Daffodil Delight, Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, and Whisper WhiteStamp Set: Sunflower and Loving Thoughts

Monday Card Challenge: I've Got My Stampin MOJO back YAY!!!
I'm Back, Did you miss me??? I have to apologize for going MIA. Somewhere along the way I lost my stamping MOJO. I just couldn't get motivated and even when my UPS man would show up with that wonderful little brown package, I would open it up of course and drool over my new stuff, but for whatever reason, playing just didn't seem like something I wanted to do. However thanks to a few of my dearest friends; Darla, Marcia, and Roxanne, I have found the inner stamper in me, and have begun making lots of great new projects to share with you! So to get things started I have a Monday Card Challenge to get your creative juices flowing. Have fun and send me a picture f your finished design!!

Valentine's Day Card for my hubby
Hello Friends,
I just thought I would share the card I made especially for my hubby, Luis, for Valentine's Day. He is the most amazing husband. For those of you who do not know him, well let's just say he has the patience of a SAINT!!! Together we share a total of 5 children. But, what makes him so amazing is he stays home and cares for our 5 year old son, Trevor and our twin girls; Marissa and Casandra who are approaching 2 years old and never complains about ANYTHING. I love him dearly for his patience, kindness, and for loving me even when I am a BIG PAIN! I am truly blessed and so I made him this card to remind him how special he is to me.

Valentine's Day is almost here!!!
Hello Friends,
Are you prepared for Valentine's Day? I am, can't wait to share my love with all my 1st graders and of course with my family and close friends. I thought today's post would be one that shows the few things I have been creating to get prepared for that special day of love. Enjoy!!!

These are the cards I made with our chocolate nugget wrappers. I made them specifically for my students. I just know they will LOVE them!
This is one I made just for fun. I wanted to use all of the wonderful new products from Stampin Up. I just love the new edgelits!!!
This one is one I made for a Monday Challenge. Loved how beautiful it turned out!
Here is a bookmark with holder I made. Started reading again and realized that I did not have anymore bookmarks, I truly don't know where they all went!
And finally, I was given this travel coffee cup for Christmas from my dear friend Roxanne and decided I could transform it every month to a new theme. Makes my mornings even more cheery!!!
